Description |
On behalf of established and respected Salinas, CA ag supply and irrigation systems provider, we are seeking candidates for consideration. This employer needs a strong office manager to assist its busy President with all aspects of running an office, managing staff, purchasing, accounting and business development. Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Under the direction of the President, provides overall coordination for all activities related to office administration, accounting, human resources, client support, profitability and business development. The Office Manager works closely with all staff members to ensure that their responsibilities are effectively and consistently discharged. The Office Manager reports directly to the President. Requirements |
In order to be successful in this job, it is expected that the individual will possess the following technical and performance knowledge, skills, abilities and aptitudes:
A. TECHNICAL SKILLS
1) Intermediate to advanced level MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills and proficiency in accounting software.
2) Ability to troubleshoot office equipment, and basic computer software and hardware issues.
3) Efficient, clean, easy to understand record keeping methods.
4) Experience in effectively managing customer service issues.
5) Experience following up with and tracking leads, prospects, and new clients.
6) Bachelor's degree in Business preferred but not a requirement. Administration and/or Marketing preferred.
B. PERFORMANCE SKILLS
1) Writes and speaks clearly and articulately to many levels of audiences.
2) Utilizes effective customer service methods and provides unanticipated levels of customer service.
3) Well organized and systematic in the performance of procedures, work flow, work load, setting and achieving goals for self
4) Effectively analyzes situations, schedules and problems
5) Objectively assesses performance of staff.
6) Works well in a team environment and effectively collaborates and problem solves with others.
7) Easily builds rapport with employees, superiors, clients, vendors and prospects.
8) Makes decisions that are well thought out and decisive.
9) Maintains a high level of energy.
10) Demonstrates tact and diplomacy; and is
11) Extremely detail oriented and able to resolve complex, logistical problems.
Bilingual helpful(English/Spanish) but not required. |
