Job Description On behalf of our client, we are seeking dynamic customer centric candidates for the position of Director of Business Development and Sales (possible VP position for qualified candidate). This is an exciting ground floor opportunity to join a growing technology solutions company which provides quality, freshness and safety enhancement via temperature visibility to the Produce and Food industry. Customers include growers, processors, retailers, foodservice companies and transporters. Client Company has a vast pipeline of opportunities that need to be cultivated.. This is a full-time position based at its branch office in Salinas, CA and offers a salary and commission compensation program based on overall sales and meeting objectives. Significant travel.

Successful candidate will have the following skills, education and experience (a combination of same may be considered):

* Proven experience with technology sales, marketing strategy, financing, and global capabilities.
* Produce and food industry knowledge and contacts are essential.
* Bachelor?s degree or higher in engineering, business, finance, or relevant major.
* Five years minimum of successful experience in business development and sales.
* Ability to connect and work with C-level executives at disparate companies involved in the entire food supply chain.
* Ability to close.
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and financial acumen.
* Ability to travel as needed.
